Age and Identification Requirements

 

Q: How old do I have to be to make a purchase at Better Vapes?

A: You must be 21 years of age or older to purchase any tobacco products, nicotine products, or vapor-generating electronic devices (including e-liquids and accessories) in the State of Florida. This is a strict federal and state law that we must follow.

Q: What kind of ID do I need to bring?

A: We accept valid, current, government-issued photo identification that clearly shows your date of birth, such as a Florida Driver's License, state ID card, or a Passport. We are required to check the ID of any customer who appears to be under 30.

Q: Can a person under 21 wait for me inside the store?

A: No. Due to Florida law regarding the sale of these products, we restrict entry to customers who are 21 years of age or older. Please leave minors, even if accompanied by a parent, outside of the shop.

 

Vaping Products and E-Liquids

 

Q: What's the main difference between a Pod System and a Mod?

A: Pod Systems are small, simple, and excellent for beginners or on-the-go use. They are best for higher-nicotine (nic salt) e-liquids and are very easy to operate. Mods (or "Box Mods") are larger, more powerful, and offer customization like adjustable wattage and temperature control. They are generally preferred by experienced vapers.

 

Q: What is Nic Salt E-Liquid and should I use it?

A: Nicotine Salt (Nic Salt) e-liquid uses a special formulation of nicotine that allows for much higher nicotine concentrations to be inhaled with a smooth throat feel. This is ideal for those who are trying to stop smoking cigarettes, as it delivers nicotine more effectively. It is designed to be used with Pod Systems or other low-wattage devices.

 

Q: Do you carry any disposable vapes that will be banned in Florida?

A: We are committed to following all state regulations. Florida law directs the Department of Legal Affairs to publish a list of non-compliant disposable vapor products. We actively monitor this registry and immediately remove any prohibited products to ensure our entire inventory is fully compliant with Florida law.

 

Q: Can I return a vape or e-liquid if I don't like the flavor?

A: No. Due to health and hygiene regulations, we cannot accept returns on opened e-liquids, coils, or used vapor devices. All sales are final on these items. If a device is defective upon purchase, please keep the original box and receipt and contact us immediately for assistance with an exchange or warranty claim.

A: Yes, we stock a wide range of accessories, including pipes, grinders, and quality vaporizers, that can be used with legal dry herbs.

Q: Can I sample or use my vape inside Better Vapes?

A: As a retail vape shop, we are an exception to the Florida Clean Air Act. However, we ask that you be respectful of other customers. Please check with a staff member regarding our current in-store usage policy.
